I have a question about Bad Teacher. Cameron Diaz is supposed to be looking for a guy with money to take care of her. Already a somewhat insulting concept, but necessary for the plot of the film. At the beginning of the movie she has been a teacher for one year while dating a rich guy who she is going to marry. My question is what has she been doing from age 22-37. Cameron Diaz is 39 years old, and even though maybe she can play early thirties that still leaves a pretty substantial gap where she was doing what exactly?

Also how did she become a teacher with seemingly no qualifications or interest?

What was my response? "Why I should really go buy a nano instead".
